Earlier in the year, I was selected to participate in the Création Africa mentorship programme.

Création Africa is a groundbreaking initiative by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, coordinated by the Embassy of France and the French Institute of South Africa (IFAS). It aims to boost and support entrepreneurship in the cultural and creative industries in South Africa, Lesotho and Malawi.
The mentorship program was a whirlwind of learning, unlearning and relearning. Also exciting and incredibly rewarding. I gained invaluable insights into the cultural and creative industry. Hearing the personal stories of entrepreneurship victories and challenges from the mentors, some of which I could relate to.
The programme was an ideal opportunity to diversify and develop my storytelling to provide better solutions for the Malawi and regional cultural and tourism market.
