Brand Building Online: Offer Value
What value do you offer online to your current and prospective audience? Because that is what your online audience seeks – value!
I was privileged to give a talk on Brand Building Online at the International Christian Assembly Wealth Creation Forum in April. My talk touched on the need to develop an online strategy before setting up shop online and the importance of knowing what value you intend to offer to your audience – entertainment, advice or a product.
In order to do develop that strategy you obviously need to have a clear idea of who your audience is and how they can be reached. Putting your first and second and third piece of content in front of your audience is just the start. There is the hard work of measuring, experimenting and readjusting your tactics and maybe even your strategy.
All in all, building a brand online is not a part part endeavour. It requires putting in hard work and having a long term purpose. Short term returns just don’t happen in a crowded online space.
